Beverley Glazer is a psychotherapist and Internationally Certified addiction counselor with offices in Montreal, Canada. She has a bachelor (BA honors psychology) and MA (Counseling psychology). A post graduate practicum in addictions was attained under the direction of Alfred Ellis at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York. Gambling specialization was attained at the University of Windsor. Additional post graduate training includes: psychodrama, art therapy, hypnotherapy, anger/stress management, couple counseling and sex therapy.

"I have over 25 years of accumulated experience, teaching, facilitating and counseling individuals and families with diverse issues in both the public and private sectors. I specialize in all impulse control behaviors: drugs, alcohol, gambling, food, sex, shoplifting as well as depression, co-dependency, dysfunctional relationships, parenting anger and stress management.I also have experience with aboriginal issues, as well as addiction issues in correctional facilities, halfway houses and rehabs."

Beverley Glazer also has achieved the designation of Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) qualifying her to give US Department of Transport Assessments. (DOT assessments).

Not only is Beverley qualified to help you, but she has a friendly, non-judgmental manner and this makes talking to her an easy and rewarding experience. For over 4 years, she hosted a talk radio show, (Get a Life with Beverley Glazer, CJAD 800, until she realized that she had no life). She’s also a motivational speaker and presenter and heads the eating disorder program at Addington Addiction Foundation, as well as managing a busy private practice.
