I discovered the world of impulse control behaviors when I was interning, and I never looked back....

When someone’s life is out of control, and they reinvent themselves it's amazing. I witness miracles. I know of no other specialty that’s so rewarding.

“From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your support and understanding – most of all for believing in me. I never met you in person, but I feel that I’ve known you all my life” – KD

How Effective Counseling Works

Clinical studies have shown that the most effective counseling for impulse control behavior is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy The way you think determines what you do, so with effective counseling techniques, when you empower yourself, you change the way you've been thinking and reacting. You learn to think in a more positive way. This is not only 'positive thinking'. It's 'power thinking'.

Effective counseling techniques are not only for immediate issues.

Once you learn the techniques they're with you for life.
