Enabling My Husband

by Anonymous

I have been separated from my husband for two years and he has become homeless.

How do I help, but not continue enabling his behavior which landed him in the position he is in?

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to really help him, without enabling.

The only thing you can do is point him to the right resources where others can help. These would be social services, free detox/rehab if necessary etc., but that's it. He has to get out of this difficult situation on his own.
