Gambling On Machines

by Rami
(Lebanon)

I am addicted to gambling on machines. I am a 23yr old university student and not working. I cannot afford to pay for help, but I need to stop gambling. Is there help for me? What can I do? Please help.

In the West, we have many 12-step programs, however, this may not be accessible to you in Lebanon.

See if you can find Gambling Anonymous groups (GA), and if there are, go to meetings (30 meetings in 30 days to start) and get a sponsor.

If you can’t find a group, there may be support groups on the web – not the same, but better than nothing.

As you are in university, they may have psychological services. You may be eligible to get free services there.

All the best
