Getting off Methadone

I have been on between 180mg to 200mg of methadone and want to get off. What is the best way to go about this?

Before getting off methadone you should consult a physician. It may be suggested to ween you off the medication by gradually replacing it with another, so you don't suffer negative side-effects.

Your doctor would be the best person to give you this advice.
