Is This Man Codependent?

Is it considered co-dependent when a man has been engaged 3 times with 3 different women in a 3 1/2 year time span?

This certain man gets engaged after only courting the person for about 2-3 months.

This man is not necessarily codependent, but there are obviously other problems with his behavior.

According to Webster’s Dictionary, a codependent relationship is: “Excessive emotional or psychological reliance on a partner, typically one with an illness or addiction.”

In other words, the relationship is dysfunctional, both of them know it, but they don’t break up -- and if they do, they keep getting back together.
