Shoplifting and a Record

by Saffiya
(England)

What if you get caught shoplifting twice and they only just fined you. Would you get a criminal record because you've done it twice?

------------------------------------------------

Your fines are probably on file, but I don't think you were actually charged. You'd have to consult a British lawyer about this.

However, if you keep shoplifting, eventually you will be charged. I hope you get help for this behavior because it doesn't simply disappear and it can get you into a lot of trouble.

Regards

Bev
